Community Guidelines

Moral Kombat is a battle of ideas, not a battle between people. These guidelines keep the arena sharp, fair, and worth showing up for.

1.The spirit of the arena

Everyone here is testing ideas under pressure. You can be fierce, funny, and relentless with an argument — but the moment you turn it on the person, you've left the spirit of Moral Kombat. Attack the claim, not the human making it.

2.What we expect from debaters

3.What we expect from the Flock

4.Topics: hard is fine, hateful is not

Moral Kombat exists for difficult questions. Controversial, uncomfortable, and politically charged topics are welcome when argued in good faith. The line is not how provocative a topic is — it's whether the goal is to reason or to harm.

Generally acceptable

Not acceptable

"Defending an idea" is not a shield for targeted abuse. We look at intent, framing, and effect — not just the topic title.

5.Prohibited behavior

6.How we enforce

Depending on the severity and history, we may take any of the following actions:

Serious violations — such as threats, doxxing, or content involving minors — can result in an immediate permanent ban and, where appropriate, referral to authorities.

7.Reporting and appeals

If you see something that breaks these guidelines, report it [[describe how — in-app report button and/or report email]]. If you believe an enforcement action was a mistake, you can appeal by contacting [[Appeals / support email]].

8.Changes

We'll update these guidelines as the community grows. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. These guidelines are part of our Terms of Use.
