Refund & Billing

How payments, Kombat Points, and Gifts work — and when you can get your money back.

Last updated: [[Effective date]]

This is a working draft pending review by qualified legal counsel and confirmation of your payment provider's rules. Items in [[brackets]] must be completed before publishing.

1.How billing works

Moral Kombat uses a single in-app currency called Kombat Points (KP). The flow is simple:

Prices for KP are shown at the point of purchase and may change over time. Applicable taxes may be added.

2.Kombat Points and Gifts are digital, final purchases

KP and Gifts are digital goods delivered to your account immediately. Because they are consumed within the Service, purchases of KP and Gifts are generally non-refundable once delivered, except where a refund is required by law or expressly stated in this policy.

KP has no cash value, cannot be transferred outside the Service, and cannot be exchanged for money except where required by law.

3.Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under applicable consumer-protection law. [[If you sell to EU/UK consumers, address the digital-content withdrawal right and the consent to immediate delivery that waives it]]. If a purchase was faulty or not delivered, you are entitled to a remedy as required by law.

4.When we may issue a refund

We may, at our discretion or where required by law, issue a refund or restore KP if:

5.How to request a refund

Contact [[Billing/support email]] with your account email, the approximate date of purchase, and the transaction details. We aim to respond within [[response time, e.g. 5 business days]]. Purchases made through a third-party app store may need to be refunded through that store under its rules.

6.Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is wrong, please contact us first — we can usually resolve it faster than your bank. Initiating a chargeback without contacting us may result in suspension of your account and forfeiture of KP pending review.

7.Subscriptions

[[If you offer any subscription or premium plan, describe billing cycle, auto-renewal, cancellation, and refund terms here. Delete this section if you have no subscriptions]].

8.Payouts to debaters

[[If debaters can convert Props or earnings into real-world payouts, describe eligibility, minimum thresholds, fees, timing, taxes, and the payout provider here. If there are no payouts, state that Props are for recognition and rankings only]].

9.Changes

We may update this policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date will reflect changes. This policy is part of our Terms of Use.
